Chicken Pox!...looks like our vaccine didn't quite work.  Luckily it appears Blake has a mild case...still not fun!  I wonder who's next???

Bad Blogger Friend~

I just wanted to do a quick post to tell all my "bloggy friends" I am sorry for not commenting lately....I do check in regularly on everyone's families, but just have not left a comment to let you know I was there!  I will get back on it....I promise!!

~A day at the park~

It was a beautiful day and the boys were home from school...so Powell, Bennett, Lucy and I headed to the park....

Oh what these boys will do for this sweet girl...

After the park we stopped for an ice cream cone...and Lucy said "Fun Day!"...yes, it was!

Lucy goes to the Dentist~

Lucy had her first Dentist appointment...the week before she had gone with Blake and Bennett to their appointment, so when her turn came the following week she was VERY excited...of course, it helps that our Dentist is Uncle Peter!!

Not only did Lucy get to choose things from the prize box, but they gave her a mask...

and then she asked for the gloves!  We came home and Mommy got a dental checkup!!

Sunday Snowday!

~We got a couple inches of snow this morning...so Bennett and Lucy headed outside to have some fun~

Happy Birthday Uncle Peter~

Last Sunday we had Brunch to celebrate Uncle Peter's 60th Birthday. 

There is a pond inside the restaurant and Lucy got to feed the fish!

After brunch we walked down to the Marina and spent some time on Uncle Peter's boat~

Uncle Peter gave Lucy a tour of the boat...since it was her very first visit~

What a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

UPDATE:  I wanted you to see that I did "start" a London Wall on the wall the other side of the hall...it can be moved :)  I have to admit...this all DOES look better in person...everything looks so light in these photos...but you get the idea:)

LOVE this ceiling fixture from Ballard Design...I could't do a chandelier because the ceiling is too low, so this works well.

That wall, and the little around the door...darker color, wallpaper???  The color now is a couple shades darker than it appears in these pics.

Doors...should they be painted black or another color...the outside are black.  If anything the trim should match the doors right?  My hall closet and kitchen pantry doos are black as well.

Would love another rug~
