Happy 40th Birthday Jeff

We celebrate Jeff's birthday every year since he's been gone with a cake and balloons.

It gives us all something to look forward to that day and a celebration of a wonderful Guy! It is really hard to believe that my "little" brother would have been 40 this year.

What would he have thought about that? Andrea says he didn't like turning 30 :)...hmmm.

I do know he would have been proud of his most precious pride and joy....

A Day at the Market

We had family come to town this week...and a visit to Seattle is never complete without a stop at Pike Place Market!

I really need to work on my photography skills...because this is THE place to take pictures!

Today was Lucy's last day of Pre-K...she is now on her way to Kindergarten!

She was so excited for her big day...new dress, new sandals and a grad day pedicure...all set!

I treasure each and every one of these little gems. I just received a couple of new pieces from my two boys in high school ceramics, and I couldn't have been happier! I think I need to make more room on my shelf :)

We saw Annie Jr

A few weeks ago, our friend Delaney played the part of Annie, in the middle school production of Annie Jr. I know Delaney loves to sing and play the piano, but WOW....she did an amazing job!!

Lucy enjoyed her very first musical. In the beginning when the first scene ended...Lucy asked, while the auditorium was quiet :), "where did Delaney go???"

Look who got his driving permit!!

Friday afternoon Blake and his friend Jensen celebrated another milestone in their teenage years...they got their learner's permits!

My friend Dawn and I took the boys together (they will be doing Driver's Ed together too!) which made the wait MUCH more fun!!

I think the Peony is the favorite flower of everyone I know!

I only have two bushes, for now :)
