Today would have been my brother Jeff's 42nd Birthday

I wonder what he would have thought of that :)

I wonder what kind of Dad he would have been to my Niece...strict, a push-over, a little of both?

I know he would have had a blast with his teenage Nephews :)

So, once more we celebrate a birthday without him here, but we KNOW he is always with us!

Not more than 10 min after we sent our birthday balloons up, did EVERY cloud in the sky disappear and the sun came out :)...we know Jeff got our wishes!

Since my Niece and Sister-in-law were in town this year, my Mom made the cake and Makenna Riley decorated it for her Dad ♥

(yep, she's her Daddy's girl :)

How does this happen??

How do you go from a toothless little first grader

to a boot wearin', Justice lovin' second grader??

Last Friday, Lucy was invited to her first little "school's out " girl party...they danced and danced, ate Pizza, and did lots of giggling...she had a great time!

Speaking of Justice :)...we ventured in to their store for the very.first.time!  My little peanut is so tiny, and she is just now able to wear some of their size 6 tops...and she is thrilled!!

So...as we kick off the summer before I have a Senior, a Sophmore, a Second Grader, AND a Second year college student...I do know where the time goes...and it goes FAST!

We picked up Lucy's new glasses today...she was SO excited!

She chose frames that are brown with blue so we would look like twins :)

I love that she thinks we look alike, I think so too :)

Lucy loves cooking ANYTHING, and is really good at it too!

Just the other day she was playing "Worst Cooks in America" (one of of her favorite cooking shows)...she is the head chef and she was showing her "recruits" how to chiffanod :)  Seriously, this girl knows her stuff!

Another of her favorite shows is The Pioneer Woman.  We don't have the Food Network, but she watches Ree over and over On Demand...I think she has her shows memorized :)

Prom

Blake went with his friend Jonel to her senior prom for their high school

Jonel and Blake are good friends and had a great time together!

She looked so darling in her teal dress and her gorgeous skin color!!

There were 14 couples in their group, and this is the inside of the "party bus" they took into Seattle for the night

It really is hard to imagine that next year it will be Blake's Senior Prom...oh this is all going by so fast!!
