Chinese New Year~Year of the Snake

This year, my good friend Dawn Brown and I hosted our

2nd Annual Chinese New Year Party!  We love putting this on for our

girls, and sharing their heritage with friends and family.  

We practically doubled our turn out from last year, and had

over 100 people attend!!

Sharon and I met through our blogs, and we were so happy they could

join us for this celebration!

The highlight of our night were the 

Seattle International Chinese Lion Dance Team

we had perform for our guests!!

It was such a fun night of celebration

and we look forward to next year!

Lucy love Valentines

and she loves homemade Valentines!!

That's my girl...my boys NEVER would give 

homemade, so there were lots of mutant turtles, power rangers

(remember them :) and star wars!

we found another cute idea!

We loved this one, however, I am 

not sure most of the 2nd graders 

"got it" :) but that's ok

I did!!

I always have little Valentine treats for the kids

the boys got beef jerky, gatorade, a movie and candy

Lucy got a new watch, bracelets, valentine socks and candy

and for the college boy...protein bars, smartfood, a movie

and some candy!

While the kids are at school I decorate the table

I made pink velvet cupcakes and Lasagna for dinner♥

Happy Birthday to Lucy's BFF Camryn!!

Lucy's friend Camryn celebrated her birthday at 

the American Girl Cafe and store!  Lucy has been to the store, but hadn't eaten 

in the cafe...so what a treat!

The Han horse outside PF Chang's is one of my favorites!

Lucy is so teeny tiny...she is the oldest of all these Girls by months!!!

Such sweet girls...all held hands on their own
