I lost my brother 5 years ago in March, and on June 30th we celebrated what would have been his 37th birthday. My mom and stepdad came over for dinner and birthday cake, and we always let balloons go in Jeff's memory. We sent up a special balloon from my niece, Makenna Riley, who is 5 years old and never got to meet her daddy. Happy Birthday Jeffrey! We know you are looking down on us and saw our balloons.
I think that it is so wonderful that you all celebrate your brothers life by continuing to celebrate his birthday. What an amazing tradition for your family.
