~Prayer Request~
I have not shared much about Lucy's medical on this blog, but today I am asking for prayer as Lucy has a sedated MRI this afternoon. We will meet with the doctor next Wednesday to give her an official "diagnosis". I will share at some point what we knew of Lucy's medical from China and what we have discovered here in the US in hopes of encouraging anyone else considering SN adoption.
I will definitely be praying for Lucy this afternoon as she has her MRI -- praying for good results, too. I'll keep you in my prayers as well because it's hard for a mama to see her baby have to be put to sleep for a test.
ReplyDeletePraying for sweet sweet Lucy as she goes through her MRI. You hang in there Mommy!! Your baby will be just fine!! Faith had to have an MRI when she was 3 and I know the sedation part can be a bit scary, but it went very smoothly and she never remembered any of it. Keep us posted!!!
ReplyDeleteYou know you have my prayers! I think about Lucy all the time. Yes, sedation is a bit scary but kids are so strong. I'm here for you if you have any questions. I've researched ALOT as I'm sure you have also. :)
ReplyDeleteKeeping Lucy and your family in my prayers. Take care.

Prayers coming your way....hug that little one for us!
ReplyDeleteI will keep Lucy in my prayers - please let us know how she is doing :)
ReplyDeleteI'll be praying. I would love to hear your story. We are still on the fence about the waiting child list. We want to, but are having trouble pulling the trigger. Every story seems to help.
ReplyDeleteAs you know, our Libby (who was not adopted through the SN program), had a very serious skull condition. She also had an MRI. I am sorry that Lucy has to go through this. Libby has come through a very major surgery PERFECTLY. My husband is a radiologist, who specializes in MRI. If there is anything at all that we could do to help, just let me know Dawn. I am thinking of you, and saying a prayer for Lucy, and for your family.
ReplyDeleteWe will say a pray for her! We are here for you every step of the way! Much love!
ReplyDeleteI will pray for your sweet Lucy!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Lisa
Oh Dawn~ I will definitely be praying for Lucy. Love and Hugs, Jill
ReplyDeleteSweet Lucy and your family are in our prayers - it is so hard having your little one sedated - Sadie had to when she was just 2 yrs. old and it is tough but you will be fine. The nurses and doctors are just so great with those little ones (and us Mom's) and it helps get us through it. Keeping you all in our prayers during your results too.

I caught this a little too late, but I will definitely be praying as you wait for results. I hope everything went smoothly.Love, Kim
ReplyDeleteYou had told me some of what her condition is before you went to bring her home. I will pray for this little angel. She has stolen my heart. I hope that everything turns out wonderfully with the MRI and she gets a very positive diagnosis.
ReplyDeletePraying that all went well and keeping her in our prayers!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove

ReplyDeleteDawn - Praying for Lucy & your family..for wisdom and peace.
ReplyDeleteYou left me a lovely comment on my website a week ago and I tried to comment back to you, but it posted on my blog - I am really a novice at this. Anyway, I'm so glad you stopped by. Our daughter is from Yulin, Guangxi. She is residing in the orphanage there. Her SN is cleft palette. We are neighbors as we are located in Lake Stevens which is in Snohomish County.
Again, all the best to you guys! Blessings - Sharon
Hoping that all went well... I have been thinking of you. And could you please give your mother my most sincere thanks for her kind words (she left a comment on my blog). They mean so much to me!!!
ReplyDeleteKeeping sweet Lucy in our prayers....I would be so honored to hear about her story....we too, are on the SN list with our agency.
