Supporting Garrett~

Powell and his friends have been talking about this since Garrett was diagnosed with cancer.  On Tuesday Garrett shaved his head before he lost his hair...so last night Powell, Kahlen, and Brendan stepped up to the plate (or I should say razor ☺)

As a parent, can I be any prouder of these Guys??  Being 16 and putting their egos aside these Guys are "walking the walk" right alongside Garrett the best way they know how... they pray for him, visit him, text him, make crazy videos for him and love him.

Please continue to pray for Garrett and his family...you can follow along on Garrett's journey HERE and HERE.

  6. I'm proud of them, too, Dawn. What an amazing bunch of kids - a true testament to their parents. Garrett couldn't have a better bunch of friends. Continuing to pray for Garrett's restored health... xoxo ~ denise

  9. Powell I am so proud of you and what you have done for Garrett. It says alot about who you are and the roads you are traveling.
Dawn you and Toby have much to be proud of, you raised him.
These young teens will learn more from what they see and know about Garrett then we could teach them. This has truly touched their hearts and it has really touched mine.
Powell I support you 100% I am a very proud grandmother
    I love you

  12. I found your comment over at Views From My Kitchen Sink, and wondered what a family with three boys and girl would look like. We are a family of three girls, my eldest will just be starting gr. 10 next year. I am so glad I stopped by, What a wonderful blog, it's so good to see "good kids" so often those stories go unnoticed. I will be thinking and praying for Garrett.
    Take care,
    Dana
