Catch Up!

I thought I would just do a little catch up since I haven't posted in a little while.

* Monday Toby and I celebrated our 14th Anniversary. We had a great dinner and saw a french film. It was nice not to have to see Spiderman3, Fantastic 4, Transformers, you get the idea :)

* Tuesday and Wednesday were scorchers here in Seattle. It was 95 on Tues and 102 on Wed. We are not known for HOT weather. Summers here are usually great, Mid 70's to 80's. When the sun is shining you take advantage of it. We have great weather usually through September.

* Enjoying a relaxing summer. So far this week, only my oldest has been going to basketball summer camp (for High School YIKES). It has been nice break not having 3 boys to take to different events.

* Today it feel like I live in the South (which I LOVE by the way!!) We woke up to thundershowers and humidity. Now I don't have to water this morning before it gets too hot :)

So, there is our week in a nutshell!

  1. Sounds like you're having our weather here in South Louisiana. Do you have the mosquitos too? July, August, and Sept. here are pretty miserable. You have one starting high school?! I've got one starting jr. high. Yikes!!

  6. I'm in Redmond, same TOO HOT temperatures, but I DIDN'T get a thunderstorm. I'm bummed. I was looking forward to it, since being from the Midwest, I'm used to them and LOVE them.

    Now I'm bummed.

  7. Dawn, don't fear the lack of coffee on Shamian Island. There were two coffee shops (and one tea house) that I recall. One of the coffee shops was none other than
    "Seattle Coffee".

    You'll get your caffeine!

  9. Hi Dawn,

Happy anniversary! I am not a fan of those type of movies, so I'm sure it was great to see something you might actually enjoy!

    Glad you're enjoying your summer.
