Celebrating Jeff's Birthday

This year, we celebrated what would have been

Jeff's 43rd birthday.

My niece Makenna and her Mama came to 

town, so we celebrated with Jeff's 

favorite Mac and Cheese and of course

Cake.

This year instead of letting balloons go, 

we let butterflies go

12 of them!

A few of them were a little "sleepy" at first

which was great to be able to get 

some up close shots!

The coolest part is that they stayed close by 

in my Mom's yard so we were able to see them 

through the night

Blake's Graduation!

One of Blake's friends has a family member who is

an amazing photgrapher...the same guy who took homecoming and prom 

pics for the boys...he is kind to share them with all the parents!

in fact, we all got a little sunburned!

who makes a big effort to know each child

and after they receive their diplomas

she hugs each one!

I could NOT have pulled off our Grad Party

the night before graduation without our 

Aunt Deanna!

What a trooper she is to be back bright 

and early the next morning to attend 

Graduation with us...we love her!!

Happy 50th Birthday Toby!

This year Toby turned 50

I have said it many times but it bears repeating

he is the most selfless, kind, patient, even tempered

positive, caring person I know.

I could not have chosen a better man to be my husband

and father my children.

So this year I wanted to really celebrate ALL that he is 

and means to our family...so I threw him a "sort of " surprise party.

I didn't tell him about it, and when he came home from work 

and all the prep was going on in the kitchen...

then I spilled the beans!

It was a great night full of family and friends

whom we love spending time with!

 I asked each of the boys to "toast" their Dad

and they did not disappoint!

I am so proud of each of them, and their willingness to 

share their heart right there in front of some of the

most important people in our lives.
