I am thankful for a loving God and my precious family and friends~

Thanksgiving Day~

We had a relaxing Thanksgiving morning...homemade coffee cake and Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade...perfect in my book!

We went to our friend's the Brooks' for dinner

I made this little dress for Lucy before she came home, and it has been huge on her....she wore it today, but from now on will need leggings underneath...she is really starting to grow!! 

 Rachel is so sweet....she brought out all of her old Barbie dolls for Lucy to play with while we were there.

It is amazing to think at Thanksgiving next year, Powell, Sam and Rachel will be home from college on Thanksgiving break!

We have SO much to be thankful for this year...it has been a stressful and uncertain year for our family, and my sweet Husband has worked SO hard to provide for us...and the Boys have shown so much maturity and diligence through it all....so once again...I count my blessings every.single.day!

~Our hearts and our prayers go out to Steven Curtis Chapman's family as they have suffered the most heartbreaking loss

~I am thankful for a wonderful husband who makes my dreams come true everyday

~I am thankful for my 3 handsome boys and their health

~I am thankful that I FINALLY have an excuse to shop for these..,

(there will be no more shoe purchases until Lucy comes home!)

~Thankful Thursday~

I was going to do a post to just say I was "still here", but remembered how much I have to be thankful for, so here's my first ever "Thankful Thursday" post.

~I am thankful for my husband. He is my biggest encourager and supporter. He has a wonderful way of looking at things and seeing only the positive. We have had a stressful and amazing week (hope to share about it soon!), and he has held my hand and walked with me through every moment. I love you Toby!

~I am thankful for my three amazing boys. They too have hung in there this past week, with laughter and excitement. I am truly amazed when I look at each one of them, at the gift God has given me.

~I am thankful for two of my dearest friends, Terry and Candy, who have been my prayer warriors. Terry and her husband are traveling to China in one week to bring home their 11 year old son (they have a 14yr old son, and two daughters from China 5 & 3), and Candy has 5 BOYS of her own, and they have each taken time for my many phone calls and to pray for me!

~I am thankful for this blogging world. I have met some of the nicest people through our blogs as we all travel on this journey together.
